Hello everyone! It’s Fullabilities here. My name is Hania and today we have an honour to be joined by Lauren Michelle. She’s sharing her story on Instagram and today we’re going to talk about chronic illness and disability. Hi, I’m Lauren Michelle, Instagram handle @cortisol.queen, and I am here to tell you a little bit about two of my illnesses.  So, I have two acute chronic illnesses, one of which is Mast Cell Disease. Basically, I am allergic to life, put me in a bottle , please, and I use a lot of EpiPens . The other one is Addison’s disease. No, I’m not a dog. Yes, people have Addison’s too . Cześć! Nazywam się Lauren Michelle. Na instagramie możecie mnie znaleźć jako @cortisol.queen i dziś opowiem wam trochę o moich dwóch chorobach przewlekłych. Mam dwie diagnozy, pierwsza to MCAS - zespół aktywacji mastocytów. CO oznacza że ja akurat jestem uczulona na “życie”, używam dużo Epipens (automatyczne zastrzyki z adrenaliną). Drugą moją chorobą jest choroba Addisona. Nie, nie jestem psem.

My friends, family and my little sausage dog ! Feeling supported and loved helps a lot  2. Have you experienced ableism? If yes ,could you tell us more about it? I have experienced ableism, and lots of if, whether it’s accessibility related, so turning up to an MRI after waiting many months, only to be told I can’t use it as I can’t walk, being questioned on the fact I can’t walk. Or whether it’s at my old college, where I was treated horrendously, discriminated against, etc. Ableism is something I face almost all the time. 3. Is there anything people do or say without meaning anything bad, that bothers you? I'd probably say what annoys me the most that generally is meant nicely is when people assume my only issue is related to my legs, when in fact I have extreme chronic pain head to toe, I
